MWSC has signed an Agreement with the Ministry of Environment and Energy to design and build water supply network based on Integrated Water Resource Management Approach in R. Meedhoo.

The Agreement was signed by the Managing Director Mr. Ibrahim Fazul Rasheed on behalf of MWSC and the Minister of Environment and Energy Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim on behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

Under the Contract, MWSC will design and build RO water supply system integrated with rainwater harvesting in the island, and will train staff on operation and maintenance of the system.

The project is expected to be completed within a period of 11 months.
