Main Responsibilites

  • Keep a proper inventory of all the materials and equipment of the department and inform the supervisor well in advance about depleting resources and equipment that needs to be replaced 

  • Conduct the cleaning works of the toilets of the MWSC’s premises. (Offices at FEN Building, Hulhumale’ Operation Center, Gulhifalhu Operation Center etc.)

  • Conduct the cleaning of the indoor areas of the MWSC’s premises. (Including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing carpets, wiping windows, chair cleaning etc.)

  • Empty all the dustbins, replace the disposing bags and throw away to the garbage yard. In addition, if situation arises, make arrangements to empty the garbage yard under set procedure.

  • Replace and fix lights as and when required

  • Repair and replace damage locks

  • Arrange table, chairs, backdrops, sound system and decorations to meetings, events etc.

  • Clean the compound areas of the MWSC premises, which includes weeding and sweeping

  • Transferring and shifting miscellaneous materials and things from place to place

  • Carry out works such as general furniture and fitting assembly, repairing furniture and fittings, masonry works, gardening works and maintenance works

  • Paint and maintain the façade of the premises as required

Required Qualification & Experience

  • GCE A'Level/O'Level/Certificate 3 Qualification

  • Or Completion of Grade 10 with 1-year experience in a related field.

  • Or Basic Education with 2 years of experience in a related field.

Minimum Salary & Allowance Range

Minimum Salary Range: MVR 10,000- MVR 12,000
