MWSC Hosts Blood Donation Camp in Collaboration with Maldivian Blood Service

MWSC successfully organized a blood donation camp in collaboration with the Maldivian Blood Service. The event, held as part of the National Blood Donation Campaign initiated by the government, saw enthusiastic participation from MWSC employees.

The blood donation campaign was officially inaugurated by MWSC Managing Director, Abdul Matheen Mohammed, and MWSC Chairperson, Shamhuza Ahmed. The event was attended by members of the company’s senior management, along with a significant number of employees. Malé City Mayor Adam Azim and other council officials also took part in the initiative, further reinforcing the importance of community-driven contributions to public health.

The campaign, launched by the Ministry of Health, aimed to provide critical blood supplies to the Maldivian Blood Service during the holy month of Ramadan. This initiative was organized to encourage employees to take part in this meaningful cause, providing them with a supportive and accessible opportunity to contribute to the community, even amidst their busy schedules.
